Flexible control cable UNIPUR-CP – reliability in harsh conditions

This shielded flexible cable UNIPUR-CP is an ideal solution for applications requiring high mechanical and chemical resistance. The cable is designed for intensive use, both in industrial environments and in home applications. Thanks to its construction based on stranded copper conductors, TPE insulation and PUR jacket, the cable remains flexible even at low temperatures, reaching -40°C. This is particularly important when working with devices exposed to changing environmental conditions.

Construction and properties

The UNIPUR-CP cable stands out with its advanced construction ensuring long-lasting and trouble-free operation. High-quality materials were used in its production, such as:

• Conductors: Copper, un-tinned, stranded wire class 5 (according to DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360, IEC 60228) – guarantees good conductivity and flexibility.
• Insulation: Thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) – provides resistance to abrasion, chemicals and extreme temperatures.
• Screen: Made of tinned copper wires (approx. 85% coverage) – minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is crucial in precision applications.
• Outer jacket: Polyurethane (PUR) – provides high resistance to oils, greases, water and UV radiation.

Additionally, the cable has a green-yellow protective conductor (from 3 conductors upwards), which increases safety. It is metered for easy installation and adaptation to specific needs.
