This shielded control cable UNIPUR-CP 25G1 combines flexibility, durability and resistance to external factors. Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a construction that provides exceptional flexibility even at low temperatures – down to -40°C. Copper strands, twisted according to DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228 standards, are insulated with thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), which provides excellent dielectric and mechanical strength. A screen made of tinned copper wires minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is particularly important in applications sensitive to interference. The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) provides resistance to oils, greases, water, climate change, ozone, oxygen and UV radiation. In addition, the materials used in production are silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substance-free.

The UNIPUR-CP 25G1 cable is used in power tools (drills, circular saws), portable motors, agricultural machinery and building and refrigeration installations. The cable has 25 cores with a cross-section of 1 mm², and its outer diameter is approximately 18.9 mm. The rated voltage is 500 kV (U) and 300 kV (U0). Thanks to the shielding, it is particularly recommended for applications requiring electromagnetic compatibility – remember to ensure good contact of the braid with the terminals!
