This shielded UNIPUR-CP control cable is the ideal solution for applications requiring high flexibility and resistance to external factors. The construction using thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) and polyurethane (PUR) ensures exceptional durability and reliability.

Construction and properties

The UNIPUR-CP cable is characterized by a solid construction, ensuring long-term operation. It uses stranded copper conductor, twisted according to DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228 standards. The cores are insulated with TPE, which provides them with flexibility even at low temperatures. The screen made of tinned copper wires minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is particularly important in applications sensitive to noise. The outer jacket made of PUR TMPU guarantees resistance to oils, greases, water, climate change, ozone, oxygen and UV radiation. Additionally, the cable is resistant to abrasion, cuts and notches.

The UNIPUR-CP cable is widely used in power tools (drills, circular saws), gardening equipment, portable motors and agricultural machinery. It will also be useful on construction sites, in refrigeration installations and in the shipbuilding industry. It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-21 and DIN EN 50525-2-21 standards and also has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU. The rated voltage of the cable is 500V with a conductor cross-section of 1 mm², and the test voltage is 3000V. A version with a protective conductor (G) or without it (x) is also available. The color of the outer jacket can be selected according to RAL (e.g. blue RAL 5015, green RAL 6018).
