Flexible control cable UNIPUR-CP – reliability in harsh conditions

This shielded UNIPUR-CP control cable is the ideal solution for demanding applications where flexibility, resistance to external factors and safety are important. The cable is designed to operate in a wide temperature range and in difficult industrial conditions. Thanks to the use of high-quality materials, it ensures long-lasting and trouble-free operation.

Construction and properties

The UNIPUR-CP cable is distinguished by its advanced construction, which guarantees its unique properties. Copper conductors, made of stranded wire class 5, provide good flexibility and resistance to material fatigue. Insulation made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) provides excellent dielectric properties and abrasion resistance. A screen made of tinned copper wires minimizes electromagnetic interference, which is particularly important in applications sensitive to interference. The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) protects the cable against mechanical damage, the influence of oils, greases and weathering.

The cable is resistant to:

• oils and greases,
• water and climate change,
• ozone and oxygen,
• UV radiation,
• hydrolysis and the action of microorganisms.

Additionally, it is exceptionally flexible even at low temperatures (down to -40°C), which facilitates assembly and operation in difficult conditions. The materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free and do not contain substances that interfere with painting.

The cable complies with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-21 / DIN EN 50525-2-21 standards and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU. The nominal conductor cross-section is 0.5 mm², and the rated voltage U/U0 is 500/300 V (up to 1 mm²) or 750/450 V (from 1.5 mm²). The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 6.8 mm. The cable is available in violet (RAL 4005). Remember to choose the appropriate color when placing your order – other RAL colors are also available on request. Thanks to the shielding, the cable meets the requirements of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). For optimal EMC, it is recommended to have a two-sided contact of the copper braid with cable glands (e.g. cable glands).
