Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by an advanced construction that guarantees its unique properties. 41 copper strands, twisted into a class 5 rope (according to DIN VDE 0295), provide flexibility and resistance to material fatigue. Insulation made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) provides excellent dielectric properties and resistance to abrasion and chemicals. A screen made of tinned copper wires minimizes electromagnetic interference, which is particularly important in applications sensitive to interference. The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) protects the cable against mechanical damage, weathering, oils and greases.
