Construction and properties

The UNIPUR-CP cable stands out with its careful construction. Copper strands, made of twisted wire (class 5), are insulated with thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), which provides them with high flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage. A screen made of tinned copper wires minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC), and the outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) protects the cable against oils, greases, water, ozone, UV radiation and other chemical and atmospheric factors. Thanks to this, the cable retains its properties even in difficult working conditions.

The UNIPUR-CP 5G0.5 red cable finds application in many industries: construction, industry, agriculture and in mobile devices. It will be useful for powering electric tools (drills, circular saws), portable motors and agricultural machines. It is also ideal for installation in docks and cooling systems. The nominal conductor cross-section is 0.5 mm², and the rated voltage U/U0 is 500/300 V (up to 1 mm²) or 750/450 V (from 1.5 mm²). The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 7.9 mm. The cable complies with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-21 / DIN EN 50525-2-21 standards and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.
