Construction and properties

The UNIPUR-CP cable stands out with carefully selected materials and advanced construction. Copper strands, twisted strands class 5, provide good conductivity and flexibility. Insulation made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) guarantees resistance to abrasion, oils, water and climate change. A screen made of tinned copper wires effectively reduces electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is particularly important in sensitive applications. The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) provides additional protection against mechanical damage and weathering. The cable is metered for convenient dispensing and installation.

Available outer jacket colors include: blue (RAL 5015), green (RAL 6018), brown (RAL 8003), yellow (RAL 1021), red (RAL 3000), orange (RAL 2003), purple (RAL 4005) and gray (RAL 7001/7032).
