Construction and properties

The UNIPUR-CP cable stands out with its careful construction, which guarantees its durability and resistance to damage. Copper strands, twisted according to DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228 standards, ensure good electrical conductivity. Insulation made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) provides high flexibility and abrasion resistance. A screen made of tinned copper wires minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is particularly important in devices sensitive to interference. The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) protects the cable from external factors such as oils, greases, water, climate change and UV radiation.

The UNIPUR-CP cable finds application in many industries and applications: power tools (drills, circular saws), gardening equipment, portable motors, agricultural machinery, construction and refrigeration installations. Thanks to its properties, it performs perfectly in places exposed to difficult environmental conditions and intensive use. The cable has a conductor cross-section of 1 mm², rated voltage U 500 kV and U0 300 kV. The number of cores is 5, and the outer diameter is approximately 8.8 mm. The operating temperature range is from -40°C to +90°C. The minimum bending radius is 7.5x cable diameter for stationary installations and 12.5x cable diameter for flexible applications. The cable jacket is violet (RAL 4005), but other colors are also available on request.
