Construction and properties

The UNIPUR-CP cable stands out with its advanced construction, which guarantees its unique properties. Made of copper strand twisted according to DIN VDE 0295 cl.5, BS 6360 cl.5, IEC 60228 cl.5, insulated with thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), it provides excellent flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage. The cores are twisted in parallel with an optimal twist pitch, and the whole is wrapped in foil for additional protection. Shielding with tinned copper wires (coverage approx. 85%) minimizes the impact of electromagnetic interference, which is particularly important in devices sensitive to these disturbances. The outer jacket made of PUR TMPU compliant with DIN EN 50363-10-2 provides resistance to oils, greases, water, climate change, ozone, oxygen and UV radiation. The cable is metered for easy dispensing and installation.

The rated voltage is 500V (300/500V up to 1mm², 450/750V from 1.5mm²), and the outer diameter is approximately 8.8 mm.
