This shielded flexible cable UNIPUR-CP is an ideal solution for applications requiring high mechanical and chemical resistance. Designed to operate in a wide temperature range, from -40°C to +90°C, it performs perfectly both indoors and outdoors, in demanding industrial conditions. This cable is particularly recommended for powering electric tools, agricultural machinery, and in refrigeration installations.

Construction and properties

The UNIPUR-CP cable stands out with its advanced construction ensuring long-lasting and trouble-free operation. Made of stranded copper wire twisted according to DIN VDE 0295 cl.5, BS 6360 cl.5 and IEC 60228 cl.5 standards, insulated with thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). Cores are identified by colors (up to 5 cores) or black color with white numbering (from 6 cores), and the protective core green-yellow is placed in the outer layer (from 3 cores upwards). A screen made of tinned copper wires provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference (EMC). The outer jacket made of PUR TMPU guarantees resistance to abrasion, cuts, oils, water and climate change.

The cable is metered and available in green color. Additionally, on request, the cable can be made in other RAL colors (e.g. blue RAL 5015, red RAL 3000).
