Flexible control cable UNIPUR-CP – reliability in harsh conditions

This shielded UNIPUR-CP control cable combines flexibility, durability and resistance to external factors. The cable is designed for applications requiring high flexibility and mechanical resistance, as well as protection against electromagnetic interference. Ideal for both professionals and home use where reliability and safety are important.

Construction and properties

The UNIPUR-CP cable stands out with its careful construction, which translates into its unique properties. Made of stranded copper wire class 5 (according to DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360, IEC 60228), it provides good conductivity and flexibility. Insulation made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) guarantees high resistance to abrasion, cuts, oils, water and climate change. A screen made of tinned copper wires minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is particularly important in devices sensitive to interference. The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) provides additional mechanical protection and resistance to atmospheric factors. The cable is metered for easy installation and adaptation to needs.

The UNIPUR-CP cable with a cross-section of 1 mm² and six red cores is used in many fields: power tools (drills, circular saws), gardening equipment, portable motors, agricultural machinery, as well as building and refrigeration installations. Thanks to its properties, it also works perfectly in hobby applications and in docks. The rated voltage of the cable is 500V (U) / 300kV (U0). The outer diameter is approximately 9.7 mm, which facilitates routing cables in tight spaces. Thanks to its flexible construction, the minimum bending radius is 12.5 x cable diameter during dynamic operation and 7.5 x cable diameter during stationary operation.
