Construction and properties

The UNIPUR-CP cable is characterized by an advanced construction, ensuring long-lasting and trouble-free operation. Twisted copper strands, made in accordance with DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228 standards, guarantee good conductivity. Insulation made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) provides resistance to abrasion, cuts and notches. A screen made of tinned copper wires minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is particularly important in sensitive applications. The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) protects the cable from the influence of oils, greases, water, ozone, UV radiation and climate change. Thanks to this, the cable retains its properties even at temperatures from -40°C to +90°C.

Technical specifications and application

The UNIPUR-CP 6G1 cable has a conductor cross-section of 1 mm² and 6 working conductors. The rated voltage is 500V (300/500V), and the test voltage is 3000V. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 9.7 mm. The cable is available in yellow and has a green-yellow protective conductor (G). Thanks to its flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage, it is perfect for applications requiring frequent bending and movement of the cable – e.g. when connecting power tools or portable machines. The use of a copper screen increases resistance to electromagnetic interference, which is important when transmitting control or measurement signals.
