The UNIPUR-CP cable is a shielded control cable designed for demanding applications. Construction and properties

The UNIPUR-CP cable features an advanced construction. Its copper strands, twisted according to DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228 class 5 standards, guarantee good conductivity and flexibility. The thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) insulation provides resistance to abrasion, cuts and notches. A screen made of tinned copper wires minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is particularly important in devices sensitive to interference. The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) provides additional protection against mechanical and chemical factors.

This cable is resistant to oils, greases, water, climate change, ozone, oxygen and UV radiation. Additionally, it exhibits resistance to hydrolysis and the action of microorganisms. The materials used in production are silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substance-free. This allows the cable to be used in a wide range of industrial and domestic applications.
