Flexible cable 500V UNIPUR-CP 7G1 yellow TPE insulated conductors, PUR jacket 19413
Flexible control cable UNIPUR-CP 7G1 – reliability in harsh conditions.
This shielded UNIPUR-CP 7G1 control cable combines flexibility, durability and resistance to external factors. The cable is designed for applications requiring high flexibility and mechanical resistance, as well as protection against electromagnetic interference. Ideal for both professional installers and end-users who need a reliable solution in demanding conditions.
Construction and properties
The UNIPUR-CP 7G1 cable stands out with its advanced construction, ensuring long-lasting and trouble-free operation. At the heart of the cable are seven stranded copper cores, with a cross-section of 1 mm², insulated with thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). These cores are twisted in parallel, which ensures optimal twist pitch and minimizes the risk of damage during bending. The whole is surrounded by a screen of tinned copper wires, which effectively protects against electromagnetic interference (EMC). The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) provides resistance to abrasion, cuts, oils, greases and climate change. Additionally, the cable is resistant to UV radiation, ozone and hydrolysis.
This cable is characterized by a wide range of operating temperatures – from -40°C to +90°C – which makes it an ideal solution for outdoor and difficult industrial conditions. The rated voltage of the cable is 500V, and the test voltage is 3000V. The minimum bending radius is 12.5x cable diameter for dynamic bending and 7.5x cable diameter for static bending.
Applications and benefits
The UNIPUR-CP 7G1 cable finds wide application in various industries:
- Power tools: drills, circular saws, garden tools.
- Portable and agricultural machinery: electric motors, construction machines.
- Industrial installations: construction sites, docks, refrigeration installations.
- Hobby applications: requiring flexibility and resistance to weather conditions.
Benefits of choosing the UNIPUR-CP 7G1 cable:
- Exceptional flexibility: thanks to the use of stranded copper cores insulated with TPE, the cable is easy to bend even at low temperatures.
- High mechanical resistance: the PUR jacket provides protection against abrasion, cuts and notches.
- Effective EMC interference protection: the screen of copper wires minimizes the impact of electromagnetic interference on the signal.
- Resistance to external factors: the cable is resistant to oils, greases, water, climate change and UV radiation.
- Wide operating temperature range: from -40°C to +90°C allows the cable to be used in various environmental conditions.
- Safety: compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).
