Construction and properties

The UNIPUR-OZ cable is designed for durability and functionality. It consists of a multi-strand, flexible copper core, insulated with a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). The strands are twisted in parallel, providing optimal flexibility and a minimum bending radius – 10x the cable diameter during dynamic operation and 5x the cable diameter for stationary installation. The outer jacket made of PUR TMPU guarantees resistance to abrasion, cuts, notches, oils, greases, weathering, and UV radiation. Additionally, the materials used in production are silicone, cadmium, and paint-inhibiting substance-free.
