This grey, 36-core m.FLEX 512-PUR flexible cable is the ideal solution for dynamic applications in mechanical engineering, robotics and moving parts of machines. It is designed for repeated bending, ensuring reliability even in the most demanding conditions. Made from high-quality materials, including halogen-free polyurethane (PUR), it guarantees safety and durability.
Construction and properties
The cable stands out with its advanced construction, which translates into exceptional user properties. Multi-strand copper conductors with a cross-section of 1 mm² are insulated with modified PP, providing flexibility and abrasion resistance. A special outer jacket made of TMPU protects against mechanical damage, oils and other external factors. The cores are twisted in parallel with an additional protective braid (up to 4 mm²), which increases their strength. The cable is metered and has a yellow-green protective conductor.
The use of halogen-free materials increases safety in the event of a fire, minimizing the emission of toxic gases. In addition, the cable is characterized by high resistance to UV radiation, ozone, acids, alkalis and hydraulic fluids – making it the ideal choice for working in harsh industrial conditions. It is also resistant to tearing, abrasion and impact at low temperatures.
Technical parameters and operating range
The m.FLEX 512-PUR cable is designed to operate in a wide temperature range: from -40°C to +80°C (after installation) and from -30°C to +80°C (during installation). The rated voltage is 500 V, and the test voltage is 3000 V. The insulation resistance is at least 100 MOhm x km. The minimum bending radius is 5 x cable diameter during dynamic operation and 3 x cable diameter for fixed installation. The cable passed the H bending test for approx. 10 million bending cycles, confirming its exceptional mechanical strength. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 20.1 mm.
