This metered flexible cable from the m.SPEED 500-C-TPE series is designed for applications where high flexibility, mechanical and chemical resistance are key. It is suitable for both industrial installations and machines exposed to intense movements and stresses. The cable construction ensures reliable operation even in harsh environmental conditions.

Construction and Properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction using high-quality materials. Copper strands, twisted to ensure flexibility, are insulated with special TPE, resistant to abrasion and chemicals. A screen in the form of a braid of tinned copper wires minimizes electromagnetic interference, which is important in industrial environments. The whole is surrounded by a durable outer sheath made of TPE-O, providing additional protection against mechanical damage and weather conditions. This makes the cable resistant to UV radiation, ozone and oils.

This cable is also characterized by its low weight and resistance to microbes – features particularly important in applications requiring hygiene. In addition, the materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free and do not contain substances that interfere with painting. The cable has been tested according to DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51 standards and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the low-voltage directive.
