This metered 5G1.5 flexible cable from the m.SPEED 500-C-TPE series is a solution for installations where reliability and resistance to harsh conditions are important. The cable is designed for applications in machines, cable chains, and environments exposed to high mechanical stress, moisture, and chemicals. Its construction provides high flexibility and durability, which translates to a long service life and minimizes the risk of failure.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by an advanced construction that guarantees its unique properties. It uses multi-wire copper conductors with a cross-section of 1.5 mm², insulated with special TPE (thermoplastic elastomer). The conductors are twisted in strands, which ensures optimal spiral twist length and minimizes the risk of damage during bending. A braided screen made of tinned copper wires (85% coverage) provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference (EMC). The whole is surrounded by a durable outer jacket made of TPE-O in blue (RAL 5020), resistant to abrasion, oils and UV radiation.

Additionally, the cable has a yellow-green protective conductor, which increases safety. The cable construction is designed to provide high resistance to microbes and facilitate dismantling thanks to the use of a non-woven fabric separator. The materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free and do not contain substances that interfere with painting.
