This metered 500V m.SPEED 500-PUR 7G1 flexible cable with a PUR jacket is a solution for installations exposed to intense movements and mechanical stress. The cable is designed to operate in harsh industrial conditions, ensuring reliability and long life. It is ideal for where standard cables fail – in machines, robots, production lines and anywhere requiring high flexibility and abrasion resistance.

Construction and properties

The cable stands out with its advanced construction, which guarantees exceptional flexibility and durability. Made of seven copper strands, thin wires twisted into a bundle, insulated with special PP, it provides optimal conductivity and resistance to damage. The strands are marked with numbers for easy identification, and the yellow-green protective conductor (in versions with it) further increases safety. The whole is surrounded by a durable polyurethane (PUR) jacket, which protects against abrasion, chemicals and UV radiation.

The cable is characterized by low adhesion, halogen-free properties and resistance to oils and chemicals. Additionally, its construction minimizes the weight of the cable while maintaining high mechanical strength. This makes the cable easy to install and operate even in tight spaces. The cable is metered, which makes it easier to precisely adjust the length to the needs of the installation.

Operating parameters and compliance with standards

The m.SPEED 500-PUR 7G1 cable operates at a rated voltage of 500V and in a temperature range from -30°C to +80°C during flexible operation and from -40°C to +80°C in stationary mode. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter during flexible operation and 4 x cable diameter during fixed installation. It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51 and DIN VDE 0285-525-2-21 / DIN EN 50525-2-21, confirming its high quality and safety. It has a CE certificate in accordance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.
