This metered m.SPEED 500-TPE 18G1 flexible cable is a solution designed for applications where reliability and resistance to harsh conditions are paramount. Construction and properties

The cable is constructed with 18 copper conductors, insulated with special PP, which provides good flexibility and durability. These conductors are twisted in a way that minimizes the risk of damage during repeated bending. The outer jacket made of TPE-O (thermoplastic elastomer) guarantees resistance to abrasion, oils, chemicals and UV radiation. In addition, this material is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire. The jacket color – sea blue (RAL 5020) – makes it easier to identify the cable in the installation.

The conductor is tinned, which allows installation of the cable in chemically aggressive environments (hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, sulfur dioxide). The cable complies with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51 standards and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the low-voltage directive 2014/35/EU. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 14.8 mm, and the rated voltage is 500V. The permissible operating temperature is from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -30°C to +80°C during dynamic operation.
