This metered flexible cable m.SPEED 500-TPE 18G2,5 is a solution designed for operation in harsh industrial conditions. Construction and properties

The cable is constructed of 18 copper conductors, insulated with special PP with white identification numbers. The conductors are twisted in a way that optimizes flexibility, and the whole is surrounded by a durable TPE-O jacket in sea blue color (RAL 5020). The use of TPE-O material provides resistance to abrasion, tearing, oils, chemicals and UV radiation. Additionally, the cable is halogen-free and has high resistance to micro-damage. The cable construction allows installation in extreme environments where hydrogen sulfide, ammonia or sulfur dioxide are present – thanks to the tinned conductive core.

Applications and user parameters

The m.SPEED 500-TPE 18G2,5 cable is perfect for applications requiring frequent bending and movement, such as cable carriers, industrial robotics or moving parts of machines. Its operating temperature range is -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and -30°C to +80°C (flexible), allowing its use in a wide range of environmental conditions. The rated voltage is 500V, and the conductor cross-section is 2.5 mm². The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 21.8 mm.
