Flexible cable for demanding industrial applications

This multi-core flexible cable, designated m.SPEED 500-TPE 25G0,5, is designed for operation in harsh industrial environments. It is characterized by high flexibility and resistance to mechanical, chemical and UV radiation. It is ideal for applications requiring frequent bending and movement, such as robotics, industrial automation or production lines. The cable is metered, making it easy to precisely adjust the length to the needs of the installation.

Construction and properties

The cable is constructed of 25 copper cores, insulated with special PP with white identification numbers. The cores are twisted in strands, which ensures flexibility and resistance to damage. Protection against short circuits is provided by a yellow-green protective conductor (available in standard G). The whole is surrounded by a durable outer sheath made of TPE-O (thermoplastic polyurethane), which guarantees resistance to abrasion, tearing, oils and chemicals. The TPE-O material used also provides resistance to microbiological action and does not contain halogens – which increases safety of use. The cable has a rated voltage of 500V and is designed to operate at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and -30°C to +80°C (flexible).

• Thanks to the tinning of the cores, the cable can be installed in extreme environments containing hydrogen sulfide, ammonia or sulfur dioxide.
• The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 13.9 mm, which makes it easier to route in tight spaces.
