Flexible cable for demanding applications
This multi-core flexible cable, designated m.SPEED 500-TPE 25G1,5, is designed for use in dynamic industrial environments and machinery. It features high resistance to mechanical stress, abrasion and chemicals, making it an ideal solution for applications such as robotics, industrial automation and moving machine parts. This cable is particularly recommended for installation in cable conduits where high flexibility and durability are required.
Construction and properties
The cable is constructed of 25 copper cores with a cross-section of 1.5 mm², insulated with special PP with white identification numbers. These cores are twisted into bundles, ensuring optimal spiral pitch and minimizing the risk of damage during bending. The whole is surrounded by a durable outer jacket made of TPE-O (thermoplastic olefin elastomer) in blue (RAL 5020). This material provides resistance to oils, chemicals, UV radiation and microorganisms. Additionally, the cable is halogen-free, increasing safety in the event of a fire. The use of tinned wire allows installation in extreme environments exposed to hydrogen sulfide, ammonia and sulfur dioxide.
