Flexible cable for demanding applications

This high-quality m.SPEED 500-TPE 4G6 flexible cable, with a cross-section of 6 mm², is designed to operate in harsh industrial conditions and in applications requiring high flexibility. The cable is distinguished by its exceptional resistance to mechanical stress, abrasion and chemical agents, making it an ideal choice for cable trays, robotics, production lines and moving machine parts. Thanks to its special construction and materials, it ensures reliable operation even with frequent bending and high speeds.

Construction and properties

The cable is constructed of tinned copper strands twisted together, insulated with special PP. The strands are surrounded by a durable outer jacket made of TPE-O (thermoplastic polyurethane), which provides excellent protection against mechanical damage, oils and UV radiation. Additionally, the cable has a yellow-green protective conductor for increased safety. The production technology used guarantees low weight and reduced cable diameter, making installation easier. The materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or paint-inhibiting substances.

The cable meets the standards DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51 and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU. It ensures safe and reliable operation over a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -30°C to +80°C (flexible). The insulation resistance is at least 100 MOhm x km. The minimum bending radius is 3x the cable diameter for fixed laying and 5x the cable diameter during flexible operation. The outer diameter of the cable is 11.9 mm.
