Flexible cable 500V m.SPEED 500-TPE 5G1,5 TPE-O sheath, metered 24219
Flexible cable for demanding industrial applications
This multi-core flexible cable, designated m.SPEED 500-TPE, is designed for use in dynamic industrial environments. It features exceptional resistance to mechanical stress, abrasion and chemicals, making it an ideal choice for powering machines and equipment operating in harsh conditions. The cable's construction allows for free routing in cable conduits, even over long distances and at high speeds.
Construction and properties for reliable operation
The cable is constructed with tinned copper strands twisted into bundles for optimal flexibility. The strands are insulated with special PP, and the whole is surrounded by a durable outer jacket made of TPE-O (thermoplastic olefin elastomer) in sea blue (RAL 5020). This construction provides high resistance to UV radiation, ozone, oils and chemicals. Additionally, the cable is halogen-free and has low adhesion, increasing safety. The durable TPE-O jacket provides long-lasting protection against mechanical damage and weather conditions. The cable is metered for easy installation and precise adaptation to installation needs.
Application and technical parameters
The m.SPEED 500-TPE 5G1.5 cable is used wherever high flexibility and resistance to extreme working conditions are required – in robotics, production lines, industrial automation and moving parts of machines. It will work both in dry, wet and outdoor environments (without tensile stresses). The cable complies with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51 standards.
The cable is characterized by a rated voltage of 500 V, has 5 cores with a cross-section of 1.5 mm². Its outer diameter is approximately 7.8 mm. The cable maintains flexibility in the temperature range of -30°C to +80°C, and in permanently laid conditions, it withstands temperatures from -40°C to +80°C. The minimum bending radius during operation is 5 times the cable diameter, and in permanently laid conditions – 3 times the cable diameter. The insulation resistance is at least 100 MOhm x km.
Thanks to the tinned strands, the cable can be used in chemically aggressive environments – where hydrogen sulfide, ammonia or sulfur dioxide are present.
