Flexible cable 5G1 for use in harsh conditions
This high-quality flexible cable, designated m.SPEED 500-TPE 5G1, is designed for operation in demanding industrial environments and beyond. It is characterized by exceptional resistance to mechanical stress, abrasion and chemical agents, making it an ideal choice for use in machinery, robotics, production lines and moving parts of equipment. This cable is particularly recommended for installation in cable ducts over long distances and at high speeds.
Construction and properties
The cable is constructed of five copper conductors with a cross-section of 1 mm², insulated with PP material and marked with numbers for easy identification. These conductors are twisted in a way that minimizes the risk of damage during bending and stretching. The whole is surrounded by a durable outer sheath made of TPE-O (thermoplastic olefin elastomer), which provides resistance to abrasion, oils, UV radiation and chemical agents. Additionally, the cable has a yellow-green protective conductor for increased safety. The exceptional flexibility of the cable allows for repeated bending without loss of conductive properties.

The minimum bending radius is 5x the cable diameter during flexible operation and 3x the diameter during fixed installation. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 6.9 mm and the rated voltage U is 500 V.
