Construction and properties

The UNIPUR cable is characterized by a solid construction that guarantees its durability and resistance to mechanical damage. Copper conductors, made of stranded wire class 5, provide good flexibility and easy installation. Insulation made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) and an outer coating of polyurethane (PUR) provide excellent protection against the effects of atmospheric factors, oils, greases and UV radiation. Additionally, the cable is resistant to abrasion, cuts and notches.

The cable is available in orange, which makes it easier to identify in installations. It is also possible to order the cable in other RAL colors. The nominal conductor cross-section is 2.5 mm², and the number of cores is 12. The approximate outer diameter of the cable is 19.2 mm. The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500 kV and 450/750 V for cross-sections from 1.5 mm².
