Construction and properties

The UNIPUR cable is characterized by a solid construction, designed for resistance to mechanical damage and external factors. The durable outer polyurethane (PUR) coating protects against abrasion, cuts and incisions. Additionally, the cable is resistant to oils, greases, water, atmospheric factors, ozone, oxygen and UV radiation. This makes it perfect for demanding industrial environments and construction sites.

The cable has 12 stranded copper conductors, twisted according to DIN VDE 0295 class 5, BS 6360 class 5 and IEC 60228 class 5 – ensuring good conductivity and flexibility. The insulation is made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), guaranteeing high electrical insulation and resistance to low temperatures. The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) provides protection against mechanical damage and external influences. The cable operates at a rated voltage of 450/750V, allowing for wide use in various electrical installations. It is designed to operate at temperatures from -40°C to +90°C, making it suitable for extreme temperature conditions. It also has radiation resistance up to 100x10⁶ cJ/kg (up to 100 Mrad), increasing its durability in exposed locations. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 19.2 mm, which facilitates installation and cable routing.
