Flexible cable 750V UNIPUR 4G4 grey grey, PUR insulated 18637
UNIPUR flexible cable – reliability in harsh conditions
The UNIPUR 4G4 cable is a flexible solution for applications requiring high mechanical and chemical resistance. This cable, made with polyurethane (PUR) insulation, is characterized by exceptional durability and flexibility even at low temperatures. It is an ideal choice for both professional installers and end-users who need a reliable cable for demanding applications.
Construction and properties
The UNIPUR 4G4 cable is designed for intensive use. Its construction is based on stranded copper conductors, which provide good conductivity and flexibility. The conductors are insulated with thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), and the whole is surrounded by a durable PUR coating. This construction guarantees resistance to abrasion, cuts, notches, oils, greases, water and weathering. Additionally, the cable is resistant to UV radiation and hydrolysis.
It is worth noting the wide range of operating temperatures – from -40°C to +90°C – which makes it ideal for outdoor and harsh industrial environments. The minimum bending radius (10x cable diameter for flexible bending and 5x for stationary bending) makes installation easy even in tight spaces.
Applications and benefits
The UNIPUR 4G4 cable finds wide application in various industries:
- Power tools: drills, circular saws, garden tools.
- Portable machines: electric motors, agricultural equipment.
- Construction: powering devices on construction sites.
- Industrial installations: in environments requiring chemical and mechanical resistance.
- Hobby and DIY: anywhere a durable and flexible power cable is needed.
Thanks to its construction, this cable provides safe and reliable power supply to devices in various working conditions. Additionally, the materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting, which is important for many industrial applications. The nominal conductor cross-section of 4 mm² and the nominal voltage of 450/750V provide sufficient performance for most applications. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 13.7 mm, which should be considered when planning the installation.
