Construction and properties

The UNIPUR 5G16 cable is characterized by a solid construction. It has five copper conductors with a cross-section of 16 mm², twisted according to DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228 standards. The conductors are insulated with thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), which provides them with flexibility and resistance to damage. The outer jacket made of PUR TMPU guarantees protection against abrasion, cuts, the influence of oils, greases, water and atmospheric factors. Additionally, the cable is resistant to UV radiation and hydrolysis.

It is worth noting the wide operating temperature range – from -40°C to +90°C – which makes it an ideal solution for outdoor and difficult industrial conditions. The minimum bending radius is 10x the cable diameter for flexible bending and 5x the cable diameter for stationary bending, which facilitates installation even in tight spaces.
