Construction and properties

The UNIPUR 7G4 cable stands out with its solid construction. Seven copper conductors, twisted according to DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228 standards, ensure good conductivity and flexibility. Insulation made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) guarantees high resistance to abrasion, cuts, notches and the action of oils, greases, water and atmospheric factors. The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) provides additional protection against mechanical damage and UV radiation. This ensures that the cable retains its properties even in extreme conditions.

The cable has seven current-carrying conductors and one protective conductor, which increases its safety. The rated voltage U/U0 is 450/750V, and the outer diameter is 18.3 mm. The cable's flexibility is confirmed by a minimum bending radius of 10x cable diameter during dynamic operation and 5x cable diameter during stationary operation. Additionally, the cable is resistant to radiation up to 100x10⁶ cJ/kg (up to 100 Mrad).
