Flexible control cable UNIPUR-CP – reliability in harsh conditions

This shielded UNIPUR-CP control cable combines flexibility, durability and resistance to external factors. The cable is designed for applications requiring high reliability, both in industrial installations and portable devices. The construction using thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) and polyurethane (PUR) provides exceptional flexibility even at low temperatures, as well as resistance to oils, water, climate change and UV radiation.

Construction and properties

The UNIPUR-CP cable is characterized by a solid construction, ensuring long-lasting and safe operation. Twisted copper strands, insulated with TPE, are shielded with a copper braid to protect against electromagnetic interference (EMC). The outer jacket made of PUR TMPU further protects the cable against mechanical damage and chemical influences. This makes the cable perfect for demanding industrial, construction and mobile applications.

• Flexibility at low temperatures: The special construction allows maintaining flexibility even down to -40°C, which facilitates installation and operation in difficult conditions.
• Mechanical strength: Resistance to abrasion, cuts and notches guarantees a long service life of the cable, even with intensive use.
• Chemical resistance: The cable is resistant to oils, greases, water and climate change, ensuring its reliable operation in various environments.
• EMC shielding: The copper braid effectively reduces electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable signal transmission. For optimal EMC effect, it is recommended to have contact of the braid with the terminals on both sides.
• Safety: An available version with a protective conductor (G) provides additional safety.

The cable has 12 cores with a cross-section of 2.5 mm², made of stranded copper (class 5). The rated voltage is 750V and the test voltage is 3000V. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 19.8 mm. The permissible ambient temperature during installation is from -40°C to +90°C. The color of the outer jacket is available on request – choose from RAL 5015 (blue), RAL 6018 (green), RAL 8003 (brown), RAL 1021 (yellow), RAL 3000 (red), RAL 2003 (orange), RAL 4005 (purple) or RAL 7001/7032 (grey). The product meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).
