This shielded flexible cable UNIPUR-CP is an ideal solution for applications requiring high mechanical resistance and flexibility, even at low temperatures. The cable is designed for intensive use in various industrial, construction and hobby environments. Thanks to its construction based on twisted copper strands, TPE insulation and PUR jacket, it ensures long-lasting and safe operation.

Construction and properties

The UNIPUR-CP cable stands out with its advanced construction, which guarantees its unique properties:

• Conductors: Made of unannealed copper, twisted according to DIN VDE 0295 class 5, BS 6360 class 5 and IEC 60228 class 5 – this ensures good conductivity and flexibility.
• Insulation: Thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) provides excellent insulating properties and abrasion resistance.
• Shielding: Effectively protects against electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is particularly important in electronic devices and control systems. The shield is formed by tinned copper wires covering approximately 85% of the surface.
• Outer jacket: Made of polyurethane (PUR) TMPU compliant with DIN EN 50363-10-2 – resistant to oils, greases, water, climate change, ozone, oxygen and UV radiation. It also provides high mechanical resistance and abrasion resistance.
• Flexibility at low temperatures: Enables operation in the temperature range from -40°C to +90°C without losing its properties.

Additionally, the cable is metered for easy dispensing and assembly. Available in different jacket colors on request (e.g. blue RAL 5015, green RAL 6018).
