This shielded UNIPUR-CP control cable is the ideal solution for demanding applications where flexibility, resistance to external factors and reliability are important. The cable construction based on copper conductors, TPE insulation and PUR jacket ensures long-lasting and safe operation.

Construction and properties

The UNIPUR-CP cable stands out with its advanced construction, which guarantees its unique properties:

• Conductors: Made of unannealed copper, stranded according to DIN VDE 0295 cl.5, BS 6360 cl.5 and IEC 60228 cl.5 standards – ensuring good conductivity and flexibility.
• Insulation: Thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) provides excellent dielectric properties and abrasion resistance.
• Shielding: Effective protection against electromagnetic interference thanks to a screen of tinned copper wires (approx. 85% coverage). This is particularly important in applications requiring stable signal transmission.
• Outer jacket: Durable polyurethane (PUR) protects the cable against mechanical damage, the influence of oils, greases, water, ozone, UV radiation and microorganisms.
• Flexibility: The cable maintains high flexibility even at low temperatures (down to -40°C), which facilitates installation and operation in difficult conditions.

Additionally, the cable is metered and available in various outer jacket colors (on request).
