Construction and properties
The UNIPUR-CP cable stands out with its advanced construction. It utilizes 18 copper conductors, twisted to ensure flexibility (class 5 according to DIN VDE 0295). Each conductor is insulated with thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), providing good resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage. The conductors are twisted in parallel for optimal pitch, and the whole is wrapped in foil for additional protection. A key element is the screen made of tinned copper wires (coverage approx. 85%), which minimizes electromagnetic interference. The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) guarantees resistance to oils, greases, water, climate change, and UV radiation. Thanks to this, the cable retains its properties even in harsh working conditions.
Parameters and application
The cable has a cross-section of 1.5 mm² and a rated voltage of 450/750V. It is designed to operate in a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +90°C – making it an ideal solution for both indoor and outdoor applications. The minimum bending radius is 7.5x cable diameter for stationary installation and 12.5x cable diameter for flexible installation. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 19.6 mm. Thanks to its properties, this cable is perfect for powering power tools (drills, circular saws), portable motors, and agricultural machinery. Additionally, it meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-21 / DIN EN 50525-2-21 standards and has a CE marking confirming compliance with the low-voltage directive 2014/35/EU.
