Flexible cable UNIPUR-CP 2x4 with yellow cores, designed for applications requiring high mechanical resistance and flexibility over a wide temperature range. The construction with TPE insulation and PUR jacket ensures reliable operation even in harsh conditions. This cable is shielded, which minimizes electromagnetic interference and ensures stable signal transmission.

Construction and properties

This cable stands out with its advanced construction, which guarantees long-lasting and trouble-free operation. Stranded copper cores, manufactured in accordance with DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228 standards, ensure good conductivity. Thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) insulation provides flexibility and abrasion resistance. A screen of copper wires protects against electromagnetic interference (EMC), and the outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) provides resistance to oils, greases, water, climate change and UV radiation. The cable is metered for easy installation and use.

Additionally, the cable is characterized by exceptional flexibility even at low temperatures (down to -40°C) and resistance to hydrolysis and microbes. The materials used in production are silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substance free.

Applications and compliance with standards

The UNIPUR-CP 2x4 cable finds wide application in power tools (drills, circular saws), gardening equipment, portable motors, agricultural machinery, as well as building and refrigeration installations. It will also be useful in hobby applications and docks. Compliant with Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking) and DIN VDE 0285-525-2-21 / DIN EN 50525-2-21 standards. Thanks to the shielding, it is particularly recommended where electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) is required. To optimize EMC, it is recommended to ensure two-sided contact of the copper braid with the cable lugs.
