This brown, shielded UNIPUR-CP 3G2.5 flexible cable is the ideal solution for applications requiring high mechanical strength and flexibility, even at low temperatures. Construction and properties

The UNIPUR-CP cable stands out with its advanced construction. Copper, stranded conductors (class 5) are insulated with thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), which guarantees excellent flexibility and resistance to bending. A screen of copper wires minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC), and the outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) provides protection against abrasion, cuts, the influence of oils, water and UV radiation. Thanks to this, the cable retains its properties even in extreme weather conditions – from -40°C to +90°C.

Applications and installation

The UNIPUR-CP cable is widely used in powering electric tools (drills, circular saws), portable motors, agricultural machines and in refrigeration installations. It will also be useful on construction sites and in industrial installations requiring high flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage. The minimum bending radius is 7.5x cable diameter for stationary installations and 12.5x cable diameter for flexible applications. Remember to optimize EMC by ensuring good contact of the screen with the terminals (e.g. using cable glands). Available jacket colors: blue (RAL 5015), green (RAL 6018), brown (RAL 8003), yellow (RAL 1021), red (RAL 3000), orange (RAL 2003), purple (RAL 4005) and gray (RAL 7001/7032).
