This shielded UNIPUR-CP 3G6 cable with a cross-section of 6 mm² is an ideal solution for applications where reliability and resistance to harsh conditions are crucial. The cable is designed for flexibility, both at low temperatures and during intensive use. The purple outer jacket made of PUR facilitates identification and provides additional protection.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a solid construction, using stranded copper conductors twisted according to DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228 standards. Core insulation made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) provides excellent dielectric properties and abrasion resistance. The screen made of copper wires minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is particularly important in industrial applications. The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) guarantees high resistance to oils, greases, water, climate change, ozone, oxygen and UV radiation. Additionally, the cable is resistant to hydrolysis and microorganisms.
A key feature of the cable is its exceptional flexibility at low temperatures – even down to -40°C – making it an ideal choice for working in difficult weather conditions. The materials used in production are silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substance free. The cable complies with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).
