Construction and properties

The UNIPUR-CP cable is characterized by an advanced construction, ensuring long-lasting and trouble-free operation. It is made of twisted copper strand, which provides flexibility and resistance to material fatigue. The core insulation made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) guarantees good electrical insulation and abrasion resistance. The cores are twisted in parallel, which optimizes the pitch and minimizes the risk of interference. The whole is surrounded by a copper braid screen, which effectively protects against electromagnetic interference (EMC). The outer sheath made of polyurethane (PUR) provides resistance to oils, greases, water, climate change and UV radiation.

The cable is available in red, which makes it easier to identify in the installation. It has three working cores and a protective core. The rated voltage U/U0 is 450/750 V, and the maximum operating temperature is 90°C (flexibly down to -40°C). The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 14.6 mm.
