Thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) insulation provides resistance to abrasion, oils, water and climate change. A screen made of tinned copper wires minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is particularly important in devices sensitive to interference. The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) provides additional protection against mechanical damage and weathering.
