Flexible control cable UNIPUR-CP – reliability in harsh conditions

The UNIPUR-CP cable is a shielded control cable designed for demanding applications. It is characterized by exceptional flexibility, resistance to external factors and durability, making it an ideal choice for both professional installers and end users. This cable complies with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-21 / DIN EN 50525-2-21 standards, ensuring safety and reliable operation.

Construction and properties

The UNIPUR-CP cable features an advanced construction. Its multi-strand, flexible copper conductors (class 5) are insulated with thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), providing excellent electrical and mechanical properties. The conductors are twisted in parallel with an optimal twist pitch and then wrapped with foil for additional protection. A screen made of tinned copper wires minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is particularly important in industrial environments. The whole is surrounded by a durable outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR), resistant to abrasion, cuts, notches, oils, greases, water and climate change.

The cable remains flexible even at extremely low temperatures (down to -40°C), allowing for trouble-free use in harsh weather conditions. The materials used in production are silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substance free. Available in orange color.
