UNIPUR-CP Flexible Cable – Strength and Reliability in Every Application
This shielded UNIPUR-CP control cable combines flexibility, resistance to external factors, and safety. The cable is designed in accordance with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-21 and DIN EN 50525-2-21 standards, guaranteeing its high quality and compliance with European standards. It is ideally suited for both demanding industrial conditions and domestic applications.
Construction and Properties
The cable features a robust construction that ensures long-lasting and trouble-free operation. Copper strands, twisted according to DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228 standards, are insulated with thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), providing flexibility even at low temperatures – down to -40°C. A screen of tinned copper wires effectively protects against electromagnetic interference (EMC), and the outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) provides resistance to oils, greases, water, climate change and UV radiation. Additionally, the materials used in production are silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substance-free.
The cable is available in yellow with five cores of 1.5 mm² cross-section. The rated voltage U/U0 is 450/750V. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 10.9 mm. Thanks to its construction, the cable is exceptionally flexible and resistant to abrasion and cuts. The minimum bending radius for flexible operation is 12.5 x cable diameter, and for stationary operation – 7.5 x cable diameter.
