Flexible control cable UNIPUR-CP – reliability in harsh conditions

This shielded flexible cable UNIPUR-CP is the ideal solution for applications requiring high mechanical resistance and flexibility, even at low temperatures. Construction and properties

The UNIPUR-CP cable is characterized by an advanced construction, providing exceptional user properties. Made of stranded copper wire according to DIN VDE 0295 cl.5, it has insulation made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), which ensures flexibility even in extreme temperature conditions – from -40°C to +90°C. The cores are identified with colors according to DIN VDE 0293-308, and the green-yellow protective core is placed in the outer layer (from 3 cores upwards). The screen made of tinned copper wires (approx. 85% coverage) minimizes electromagnetic interference, which is particularly important in industrial environments. The whole is surrounded by a durable outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) compliant with DIN EN 50363-10-2.

This cable is resistant to oils, greases, water, climate change, ozone, oxygen and UV radiation. Additionally, it exhibits resistance to hydrolysis and the action of microorganisms. The materials used in production are silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substance-free. This makes the cable safe for the environment and users.
