Flexible control cable UNIPUR-CP 7G1.5 – reliability in harsh conditions

The UNIPUR-CP 7G1.5 cable is a high-quality, shielded control cable designed for applications requiring high flexibility and resistance to external factors. Made of stranded copper conductors, insulated with thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) and surrounded by a durable polyurethane (PUR) jacket, it provides safe and reliable connections over a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +90°C. This cable is ideal for both professional and demanding end-user applications.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by an advanced construction, ensuring long-lasting and trouble-free operation. Twisted copper conductors in accordance with DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228 class 5 standards guarantee good conductivity and flexibility. A screen of tinned copper wires with approximately 85% coverage effectively protects against electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is particularly important in industrial environments. The outer jacket made of PUR TMPU provides resistance to oils, greases, water, climate change, ozone, oxygen and UV radiation. Additionally, the cable is resistant to abrasion, cuts and notches.

A key feature of the cable is its exceptional flexibility even at low temperatures (down to -40°C), which facilitates installation and operation in difficult conditions. The materials used in production are silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substance-free. The cable is available in orange color and other colors on request.
