Control and power cable – reliability and flexibility in every application

This grey JZ-500 PVC control and power cable with 15 cores of 0.75 mm² cross-section is a versatile solution for electrical installations, both for professionals and end-users. Designed for medium mechanical loads and flexibility, it is ideal for applications requiring frequent bending and movement, maintaining reliability in dry, wet and humid environments (but not outdoors).

Construction and properties ensuring long-term operation

The cable is made of high-quality polyvinyl chloride (PVC), both as core insulation and external coating. Flexible stranded copper conductors (class 5 according to DIN VDE 0295), twisted in parallel, ensure good conductivity and easy installation. The cores are black with white numbers, which facilitates identification and connection according to DIN VDE 0293. Additionally, the cable has a yellow-green protective conductor (from 3 cores). A special PVC mixture guarantees flexibility and resistance to oils and chemicals. The cable complies with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51.

Technical parameters and scope of applications

The JZ-500 cable is characterized by a rated voltage of 300/500 V and an allowable operating temperature of -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and -15°C to +80°C (flexible). Its approximate outer diameter is 11.4 mm. The fire reaction class is Eca (according to EN 13501-6). This cable is used as a connecting element in control and measuring equipment in industrial devices, as well as in electrical installations of residential and commercial buildings. It is an ideal choice where flexibility, durability and safety are required. It provides effective protection against overload and short circuit – like most circuit breakers in this class. Insulation resistance is min. 20 MOhm x km and test voltage is 4000V. Minimum bending radius is 7.5 x Ø cable for flexible operation and 4 x Ø cable for stationary operation.
