Made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), both in core insulation and outer sheath, it provides good protection against mechanical and chemical factors. Multi-strand copper cores (class 5) guarantee flexibility and resistance to repeated bending, which is particularly important in dynamic applications. Thanks to the rated voltage U0/U 300/500 V and test voltage 4000 V, this cable meets stringent safety standards. The operating temperature range from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -15°C to +80°C (flexible) allows its use in a wide range of environmental conditions.

Applications and compliance with standards

The JZ-500 cable is ideal for use in dry, wet and damp rooms (but not outdoors) and in industrial equipment as a cable for control and measuring devices. It will also work in installations where there are medium mechanical loads and in slowly moving systems without tensile stress. It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51 and has a fire reaction class Eca according to EN 13501-6. Additionally, the cable is resistant to radiation up to 80 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (80 Mrad). This is a product compliant with the Low Voltage Directive 2006/95/EG (CE marking).
