This grey PVC JZ-500 18G0,5 mm² cable is a versatile solution for control and power installations. Construction and properties

The cable is designed for demanding industrial applications. Made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), both the core insulation and the outer jacket provide good protection against mechanical and environmental factors. Flexible stranded cores of class 5 (according to DIN VDE 0295) guarantee high flexibility, making it easier to lay in tight spaces and dynamic installations. The cable is designed to operate at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C (after installation) and from -15°C to +80°C during installation. The rated voltage is 300/500V, ensuring safe operation in most standard installations.

Application and compliance with standards

The JZ-500 cable is used in medium mechanically loaded flexible installations where tensile stresses do not occur. It will be useful in dry, wet and damp rooms (but not outdoors) as a cable for control and measuring devices in industrial equipment. It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51 and has a fire reaction class of Eca (EN 13501-6), which confirms its safety of use. Additionally, the cable is resistant to radiation up to 80 x 10⁶ cJ/kg and to the action of oils and certain chemicals. It is also compliant with the Low Voltage Directive 2006/95/EC (CE marking).
