Universal control and power cable for various applications

The JZ-500 3G2.5 cable is a flexible solution designed for control and power installations. Made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), it ensures reliable operation in dry, wet and humid environments – although it is not suitable for outdoor laying. Thanks to its construction with three cores with a cross-section of 2.5 mm², it is perfect for connecting control and measuring equipment and industrial devices. Black cores, numbered according to DIN VDE 0293-334, facilitate identification and connection.

Construction and user properties

The JZ-500 cable is characterized by high flexibility, which makes installation easier even in tight spaces. It is made of a multi-wire core of class 5, providing good flexibility and resistance to material fatigue. The core insulation is made of PVC, and the outer jacket is also made of the same material (TM2 according to DIN VDE 0207-363-4-1), which guarantees durability and resistance to mechanical damage. The rated voltage is 500 V, and the permissible operating temperature during installation is -15°C to +80°C, and after installation (without vibration) -40°C to +80°C. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 8.3 mm.

Application and compliance with standards

This cable is used in moderately mechanically stressed installations where flexibility and resistance to environmental conditions are required. It is ideal for flexible connections of control systems, measuring equipment and in industrial devices. It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51 and has a fire reaction class of Eca according to EN 13501-6. Additionally, the cable is resistant to oils and some chemicals (detailed information can be found in the "Technical information" table).
