The JZ-500 cable features a construction providing high flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage. It is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) both as core insulation and external coating, guaranteeing good protection against moisture and external factors. Flexible stranded cores of class 5 (according to DIN VDE 0295) ensure easy routing and connection, even in tight spaces. This makes installation efficient and trouble-free. The cable is designed to operate at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C (after installation) and from -15°C to +80°C during installation, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.

Safety and compliance with standards

Safety is key, therefore the JZ-500 cable meets the standards DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51. It has a fire reaction class of Eca (EN 13501-6), which means limited flammability and smoke emission. The rated voltage U/U0 is 500/300V, and the outer diameter is approximately 12.8 mm. The cable is also resistant to radiation up to 80 x 106 cJ/kg (80 Mrad), which increases its durability in harsh operating conditions. Additionally, the materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting.
