Construction and application

The JZ-600 cable is designed for medium mechanical stress in flexible connections where tensile stresses do not occur. It will work in dry, humid and wet rooms, as well as outdoors (permanently laid). The possibility of direct burial in the ground (with an outer diameter ≥ 18 mm) expands its range of applications. It is not intended for laying in water. Ideal for mechanical engineering, metallurgy, control, signaling and measurement – from production lines to air conditioning installations and metallurgy.

Technical parameters and additional information

The JZ-600 cable is characterized by a rated voltage U of 1000 V and U0 at 600 V. Its approximate outer diameter is 7.1 mm, and the cores are made of flexible stranded copper (class 5). Core insulation is made of special PVC TI2 (DIN VDE 0207-363-3/DIN EN 50363-3), and the outer jacket of special PVC TM2 (DIN VDE 0207-363-4-1/DIN EN 50363-4-1). The cable maintains flexibility in the temperature range of -15°C to +80°C, and after permanent installation from -40°C to +80°C. It has a fire reaction class of Eca (EN 13501-6). The insulation resistance is minimum 20 MOhm x km at a test voltage of 4000 V and a breakdown voltage of minimum 8000 V. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible operation and 4 x cable diameter for permanent laying. UV resistance is up to 8 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (up to 8 Mrad).
